I would consider myself a harsh critic and a little hard to please when it comes to high end dining. With that being said, this is the best restaurant in Lincoln if you’re wanting a high end dining experience. Our waitress was super helpful at making recommendations and was super attentive. The food all tasted fresh and I appreciated how much detail went into every dish. This is a great spot for special occasions.

decided to spend my birthday here. i’m experienced with nice, fancy restaurants and in lincoln it’s not easy to find these. i wanted to bring my own cake - because i wasn’t a fan of dish’s dessert menu and i wanted to make cute pics with candles. but i ended up paying 25$ fee for a plate, that wasn’t very nice:) There is no info about it and when i texted on insta they said i can bring it. And i truly believe that 25$ is way too much for this fee. we also came a little bit earlier than it opens, and hostess saw us (there were also 4 people who were waiting), but they opened their doors at 5. and i feel like you could let people wait inside….. also they didn’t offer me a free dessert for my bday and no discounts either. food part. this is “modern american cuisine” and yes, this is way bett

Dish is a standout in Lincoln for anyone who appreciates locally sourced, flavorful meals. We started with the garlic oyster mushrooms, which were absolutely incredible—so rich and savory. The sesame glazed pork belly was another perfect starter, tender and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our server, Evan, made the evening even more enjoyable with his fun, bantering style that helped us pick just the right dishes. And the grand finale? The butterscotch pudding with caramel sauce—don’t skip it, even if you’re not celebrating a special occasion. It’s the kind of dessert that makes a night memorable. A must-visit spot for food lovers in Lincoln.

My husband and I had the pleasure of getting to try Dish! We are from Pennsylvania, but he happened to be in Lincoln Nebraska for work and I knew that we had to make it here one night for dinner. Absolutely everything was incredible, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was fun and clean, and I loved that you could see the kitchen! The drinks were delicious! The food was absolutely incredible, some of the best we have ever had. I loved that each dish was so different and artfully plated. The flavors were incredible and if I lived in Lincoln, I would be at this place as much as possible for dinner!

We had our first experience at The Dish on October 28th and couldn’t be more pleased. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The entree choices are not like any I’ve experienced in any other restaurant. Our wait staff (Evan and Daisy) could not have been more helpful or attentive. If you are looking for a relaxing, excellent dining experience, I would highly recommend The Dish. You will not be disappointed!
