DIVINA FRONTERA - Peruvian and Brazilian Food

Ordered take out , half chicken with 2 sides , delivery charge is per mile whick im local so $2 charge was ok, lady who took my order superhelpful and nice , she made a mistake when taking my order by apologize and took an accurate order, delivery driver, called me , its a building i came to the front , he stood in his car ,windows up, me looking and looking for him was going to go back inside until he called me from the car to get my food , drivers , usually get out of the car and meet us at the door horrible customer service , he had no change so forced to leave change as a tip i guess, chicken was not good , not a good peruvian roasted chicken , fries saggy and salad dressing waterly , tastless , half chicken , chicken breast missing bottom quaterpart , not a real half chicken porti

My boyfriend and I live nearby and passed by this gem everyday for about 2 months. One day we decided to pop in and try them out. Let me tell you...Divina Frontera is my boo and I's favorite restaurant!!!! We go on a date there once a week!!!! All of the staff is amazing and you can tell they treat everyone like family. The food is authentic, delicious, and consistent...honestly you can't go wrong with whatever you choose as everything is fresh and the standard is excellent. As someone who works in food service, there are certain things I look for in an overall experience and this is it! Beyond eating there weekly, we also order to go once a week as well...they are that good!!!! Their Pollo a la Brasa, garlic chicken, chaufa, salchipapa etc is so flavorful but honestly everything is phenom

Dirty bathrooms, toilet was leaking. Men's room door wouldn't open had to go to the women's bathroom. Food felt bland. Place is overpriced for the quality of food and quantity which there was barely any food at the so called "buffet". I'd say it was abysmal.

I got takeout for a half chicken . The cashier also told me there was Two sides that come with the combo. The chicken is flavorful and cooked quite nicely. Remember to get that extra spicy green sauce that they put it. Its got a nice tang and kick. Its good value. Just forgot to give me a fork/napkins would make it 5/5 other than that I would come back when ever i go to Newark.

The food is delicious, the best lomo saltado de Elizabeth for sure, I love Peruvian food and that's my go to dish, and not even in The expensive restaurant in Dream mall is that good, 100% recommend this place.
