Dixie Dream Donuts (Dixie Cream Donuts)

I've made several afternoon attempts to Dixie Dream Donuts, unaware of thier early bird hours. The wait was totally worth it today. The selection is a modest, mouth watering mixture of confections. Today, I was able to pick up a half dozen assorted goodies including crueller, boston creams, apple fritters and glazed, and wow...such tender, moist and bold flavors. This is clearly a family owned operation who likely bakes all night to prepare for their 5:30 am opening, and I'll gladly come back again and again. #supportlocalbusiness

Do not go here if you are concerned about eating too many donuts. These amazing puffy delicious donuts come in many flavors. My wife and I are hooked, and for whatever reason they are the 1st Donuts I have ever eaten that do not repeat on me all day.

Honestly, I’ve been coming to this place for years. They have a selection, but they’re always out of things and I’ve never had an offer for them to make anything ever. I know they have early hours, but I work overnight just like they do and it’s nice to have a doughnut when I get off, but it rarely happens Whenever I go in there, I just get something from my mother and get nothing for myself because they never have anything I want. They put too much glaze and sugar all over everything. To the point where it’s really unedible mostly.

Hometown favorite for years. Best donuts in the area. Family-owned and operated a community favorite of Lakewood Park for decades. Amazing people make this place happen. And their maple bacon donut is hands down the best around
