Been going here for almost 3 years now, my favorite food truck in JC. The owners are always talkative and friendly, and the food is in my opinion the best halal truck in the area. Mix over rice is always the way to go

The food was okay and pleasant — not the best, but not bad either. It’s good for someone who wants something traditional without any extras.

Tried out Djura Halal Food Truck in New Jersey, and it did not disappoint! The combo platter was the star – packed with flavorful chicken and lamb over rice, topped with their delicious sauce. The food was tasty, portions were generous, and it was served super quickly. The only downside was the card payment process, which took longer than expected. Overall, a solid spot for a quick and satisfying meal!

This is the first time I have eaten at a food truck in the area - and the bar is now set really high. I had the lamb over rice. It is rare to say that I felt like I got more than I expected, but for $9...I could not finish it all. The lamb was cooked perfectly, same with the rice and came together with the sauce. Seemed clean, the cook was friendly. I was there late on a Friday and did not have to wait. Great location, easy to get to from the many hotels or Grove St Path Station. I would definitely go back again to try something different. Finally, one of the previous reviews mentioned the prices. Unlike many trucks I have seen, the prices were all prominent and no mistaking what each item costs.

The guy is awesome, full of humor. I tried falafel over rice ($10) , and he made it very tasty with his own magic and customization. Normally, you get full-sized falafel, but he made them with onion, spices, and oil seasoning.
