I visited DNY late at night and am so impressed with the deliciousness! We came to the restaurant to order a late night pizza and got the best pizza in all of Florida! We ordered a small pepperoni where the store took the pizza out of the oven early to add extra sauce and made the crust cooked to perfection! The pizza melted in our mouths and had the right amount of cheese and pepperoni! We ate the left over slices cold in the morning and it still tasted as good! The staff was so accommodating! They asked how we want the pizza and knew we were in a time crunch making sure they accommodated our needs! DNY Pizza is a true hidden gem on Oakland Park Boulevard just less than a tenth of a mile from the beach and absolutely worth the stop, especially if you are vegan or traveling with someone who is. The name says it all. DNY stands for Detroit and New York, and they serve both styles with equal mastery. They also offer gluten free options and, even better, a full lineup of house made vegan choices. What really sets DNY Pizza apart is the level of care that goes into their vegan menu. Their vegan cheese, vegan sausage, and vegan pepperoni are all made in house, and you can taste the difference. They even make vegan cookies, and while the vegan ice cream is not made in house, it is still excellent. We ordered a New York style pizza with vegan pepperoni and mushrooms and a Detroit style pizz

Long over-due review. We have had the fortune of eating at DNY Pizzeria weekly since they opened and getting to know the amazing owner John very well! My boyfriend is a meat-eater, and I'm vegan! DNY Pizzeria is the perfect place for both of us to enjoy the best Detroit-Style Pizza in South Florida! Boyfriend loves the Meat Lover! I enjoy the Vegan Fungi and add Vegan Sausage, Basil, and dip into Vegan Ranch! Vegan Garlic Knots are also a must! Best of all they have dessert. Their vegan cookies are phenomenal! We enjoy trying all of the rotating flavors. John takes great care in what he does. And the vegan ingredients are made in-house. Best Detroit style pizza in Broward County. The crust is nice and crispy, and the sauce and cheese have good flavor. Ordered one Detroit style pizza, one NY style, and the baked wings with hot sauce. I thought the wings were good, could have use just a bit more buffalo sauce. She offered an extra side of hot, should have taken it. I prefer a baked wing over a fried wing, so if you like them baked you should be good. the NY style pizza is not bad, just the Detroit style is way better. The place is tiny, so it’s probably better for take out, or to grab on the way to the beach. The food was good enough, that I’ll try the other menu items next time. A hidden gem with beautiful Detroit style deep dish pizzas! They have the perfect thickness, buttery crust, and crispy caramelized cheese edges. This is the deep dish pie of your fantasies. The owner was there and seemed like a very nice guy. Some idiot was complaining in another review about quantity of toppings. That's how it's supposed to be on a Detroit pie.
