Doc Brown's BBQ

This place turned out to be AMAZING!!!! Food was so delicious. Tasteful and best of all customer service was incredible!!!! Completely attentive. Staff was friendly and polite. We highly recommend this place. You will not regret it at all.

We hired Doc Brown BBQ to cater our wedding and so happy we did! We met with the owner David ahead of time and he was very accommodating with a tasting. We were able to get everything we wanted for a reasonable price. He showed up the day of our wedding and hand pulled the pork on site so it was fresh. Everything was delicious! He was very communicative and professional, especially when we made multiple changes to the menu. We enjoyed working with them and recommend them for your event!

While driving the scenic route to Balsam Knob (since parts of the blue ridge parkway are closed) we had to stop at Doc Brown’s to find out what all the hype was about. Sure as the reviews this place is a true foodie heaven. Real ingredients, real service, real music. The home made wafers in the banana pudding are so incredible. They even have vegetarian options! Doc Browns does it best.

From the time you walk into the building the lady at register was extremely nice and welcoming, not only with us but with every customer that came in. The true definition of good customer service! AMAZING.! We order a little of everything brisket, 3 different type of ribs, half a chicken, tri tip steak, Mac and cheese pie, collard greens greens,banana pudding and all their sauces. The food was AMAZING! A MUST TRY!!!! We enjoyed EVERY SINGLE BITE and some the next day. I loved their spicy bbq sauce a little hit in the back making it just perfect. The tri-tip steak comes w a green sauce it looks like a chimichurri sorry forgot the name but it was Soooooooo good as well.. just try it.

First time trying Doc Brown's and as we were standing at the counter looking at the menu a regular customer started bragging on the food. She ordered ahead for a group and was so excited it was our first time trying them out. That's an awesome testimonial! We each ordered a pulled pork plate which each comes with 2 sides and a corn bread muffin for $11.95 a plate. We sat and within a short wait of less than five minutes our food arrived. The collards were delicious and the Mac and cheese pie was a little dry but tasted great. The pulled pork was good but unfortunately was not hot. We chose not to say anything but it sounds like that isn't the norm. Sauces were on the table with a slightly spicy red vinegar, sweet bbq, and mustard bbq (I enjoyed them all!).
