Dollar General

Horrible horrible customer service, was harassed for having my service animal with me, I visited this establishment 3/9/2026 around 9:20 pm with my 10lbs Shorkie. Initially I had him in a basket I had an African American lady walk up to me from the cash register tell me “Ma’am he cannot be in the basket” #I complied and took him out of basket and continued to shop……. Five minutes later I had another African American lady walk up to me no uniform(not knowing what the uniform is everyone dressed differently) nor work badge initially thinking she was a customer walk up to me saying she’s a manager. At this point I’m upset if it’s a problem please put a sign at the door or address this as customers walk in the store unbiased my Dog is a registered State of Texas service animal as discussed wi

*Update: pothole repaired. This by far has to be the worst store ever. There has been a huge pothole in the parking lot for well over a year, and it continues to get wider, and deeper. The inside of the store is hideous, & junky-carts everywhere blocking the aisles. I have tripped a time or two, trying to get merchandise off of a shelf that was blocked by the big carts. This isn't just at a certain time, such as for restocking, this is all of the time!! Shelves for the most part are empty. The inside of the refrigerators aren’t clean. There's only one cash register for checkout, and a self-checkout that is never working; therefore the line is ALWAYS wrapped around to the aisles. The workers, bless their hearts are all very nice, polite and very hardworking as they can see the frustration

Over charged for an item I didn't get them ignored me when I told them it's wrong then wanted to make me wait in line to make it right the kind of behavior is unacceptable and refusing to let me speak to a manager about it was just unprofessional and over charging people for an item is just plain stealing when they refuse to make it right the general manager needs to address this issue

This is by far the worse Dollar General I have been in and I've been in some bad ones. I have lived in this area for the past 4 years and unfortunately, this store is convenient to make a run and grab an item or two. You can hardly get down the aisle, as items are never stocked. The store is dirty and smells rotten all the time. I was excited when they got the two contactless registers, as I figured it would speed checking out up some. The test determined that was a lie. The registers are never open, and when they are, a rep has to stand there and scan your items for you. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of it being contactless? That time can be used making sure the store is actually clean or that items are stocked on the shelves. I've started to bypass this store and drive a few more miles

There’s never anyone here! The lines are always long! They shut down all the self checkout! Only have one person checking out! Don’t come here! Unless you have hours to spare
