Dollar General

Tiffany (the manager) was very rude. We thought they closed at 10 P.M. but it is 9 P.M. we tried to walk in at 8:51 and the door was locked. She opens the door and say “you only have a few minutes” I was like okay 9 minutes is a few? I can grab my items within that amount of time. So I get my merchandise and go up to the counter with 3 minutes to spare and she yells through the whole store “3 minutes left everyone” like I understand you want to go home but you are most likely on hourly pay so staying a couple minutes to check out paying customers is not a big deal. I just felt very rushed and she was just not very nice. Didn’t say good night have a good one or jack squat. Other staff has been friendly.

I was getting snacks for my dogs and cats and the girl was very helpful with prices and then again when I was looking for cleaning supplies and the girl at the register was friendly and quick and told me to have a great night. I thought that was very curteous and friendly of her. They're always very helpful when I go there

I’m absolutely disgusted with this place, will never go back. Staff there is rude, as I was walking out of the store with my razors the buzzer at the door went off, assuming it was the tag on the package I kept walking through, the lady that checked me out came out chasing me saying she needed to check my bag, as I responded with it was the razors she said no you did not have razors it’s protocol for me to check your bag, I replied with okay? She made me feel like I had done wrong. Was so rude and nasty towards me and my family, she had all of us leave my vehicle and line up and each walk through the door as I walk in the buzzer went off again for the razors she said well you did not have razors. That was the only thing I purchased and she is the one who checked me out, she completely humi

Friendly, accommodating, polite staff. Has the majority of your major items, from your big box stores. The only downfall they have, they're still new so they run out of products, before the next truck gets in and insufficient amount of staff for the amount of business they do. Once they get that lined out, I see customer satisfaction tripling!

I prefer the layout and brighter lighting of the west side store but this one does seem to have more products to choose from. Kind of crowded, especially when they are stocking and generally only one checkout going. The place smells like bad plumbing sometimes and tends to get shopped harder than the older store in town. Lots of damaged packaging and spills that have been left to dry on products. Choose carefully, inspect before buying, and always get a receipt. I've purchased peanut butter from here twice that was open and eaten from. It's Dollar General. Most issues are due to the clientele and not necessarily the store personnel. I've had mostly good experiences with them. This place does seem to draw its fair share of weirdos and oddities so it's not always a pleasent atmosphere.
