Dominican Restaurant

The experience: At the time of service, this cozy quick service family restaurant was busy requiring help from the kitchen to manage the line. With that being said, the focus was on the flow of patrons to quickly reduce the line. Nonetheless, there was a good vibe as diners appeared to be enjoying themselves. There is limited seating should one choose to dine in. The food: The white rice and beans were good. The rice was cooked well and the beans were flavorful- I appreciated the sauce not being watery. The oxtails were tender but very under seasoned- the flavor of the gravy carried the dish. The potato salad tasted more in line with industry standard vs Dominican style. The fried pork belly had the signature crunch and tender meat. The Jamaican style beef patties were too greasy a

Went there yesterday, stood in line and waited my turn when the young ladie behind the counter attended to someone that came in after me when she was looking right at me and did not ask if I was all set. if you’re a white boy or a white girl don’t go there it’s a parent that they are racist. It seems like this restaurant is strictly reserved for Spanish people only, maybe they don’t need my money. I’ll never return there again.

As a son raised by a Dominican Mother, I was always told that home cooked meals will always be better than any food that you'll find outside & in this rare case the food tasted just like Mom's & the price was quite affordable. If I could give more stars, I would.

I was told by a customer that I need to speak Spanish. One of the workers proceeded to laugh as if it was something funny. I did not appreciate the atmosphere at all. Very unwelcoming to other groups who are not Hispanic.

I got the shredded pork, rice and beans with gravy. The meat was juicy, full of flavor and had very good flavor. It was perfectly cooked. The rice was not sticky and very full of flavor. Don’t forget the beans or gravy either. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal. It also was only $12 including a drink. The place is very busy and it shows why they are so popular. If you are in Fall River Massachusetts and hungry this is the spot!!!
