Served raw chicken; awful and rude service. Truly do not understand how this place has a 4.4 out of 5. Currently writing this review inside the restaurant and i have been left in a astonishment of the utter disrespect this restaurant has for their customers. The server essentially slammed plates onto our table and swiped them away so quickly she spilled some food on our table and didn't even bother cleaning it up. Not worth the drive or the money. There are far better Colombian restaurants around.
Had not been here in years. Did not have breakfast and was looking for a soup. I ordered the big 🐔 soup, as I was craving a good bone broth. Service was great, and I was excited when I saw the bowl. It looked great, but It was a complete let down. The broth was lacking 🐔 bone broth flavor. Seemed like they made it with chicken breat and Caldo Knorr which is a chicken stock cube. On top of that it was $12. Not worth coming back.
Long time ago a friend of us recomended Don Matias so we have been visited the restaurant since that time. Don Matias is a good example of a Colombian tradicional food, however some times it taste a little bit different, not bad, just different. Every time we came, we enjoy a lot, the food is tasty, flavored and juicy🤤🩵 The music is awesome, and costumers are enjoying, a nice reminder of Colombian roots. The owner is soft and all employees are cool, but the white chubby waitress needs to be retrained, her attitude is not a respecful costumer service. Any posición she got, it is kind of the same, dry and not warm. Please remember, we not only comunícate with our words, our body, face and gestures talk too. The way to languaging is wide and infinitive. (So, se bonita cuando mires a las pers
Best Colombian food restaurant I’ve been at in a while... taking in account I’m from Colombia, their food is amazing, great sized portions and their price is really good. I recommend the Bandeja Paisa, Calentao (breakfast with beans, rice, scrambled eggs) and on Thursdays they got their lunch special which is Crema de Tilapia (fish soup) with Pargo frito (deep fried snapper) for less than $10.
Karen always attends us and she knows exactly what order every time ! Food is always fresh and amazing. Can never go wrong with coming to this place !
