Donblanc takes a swing at South Bay's Korean BBQ scene with a comprehensive comfort food intermixed with supposedly premium meat. They try to deliver 10 Butchers or Chungdam-level quality at a more relaxed and reasonable price, also going strong with Korean drinking culture. The succeed in this mission to a certain degree but there are some serious questions. The interior is a bit weird and it feels like they inherited the setup from the previous establishment. I love the fact that there is a butcher freshly cutting the beef and pork but he's behind a "bar" counter. Clearly it wasn't designed to show off the butcher or fresh meat cutting. Went here on my anniversary because I kept seeing videos of this place. I’m going to be straight forward, it’s come a time we need to be careful with all these influencers posting videos. If you search this up you see tons of videos but I feel it’s all hype. I got the combo b beef with pork jowl and the fried chicken. The meat itself was extremely good, tender, and flavorful. Sure they cook it for you which made the service great. We came for the dinner menu and I reserved a table at 5:30. We were the only people there for the first hour which felt a little odd. The kimchi soup was salty and the banchan was average. Again the meat good but for the price we paid it was almost $150 per person including tip. Amazing service, quality cuts of meat. We came in at 10PM Thur night and we were well taken care of. Music was hitting and the Korean dads in the corner slamming soju were a vibe. Kimchi was fresh and the brisket sauce was a perfect touch. We had the beef set A with soybean stew and the rose tteokbokki. Soju cocktails were good and the staff took great care cooking the meat for us.

Beef combo was high quality and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised they also have beef tongue available off-menu. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, we had a wonderful experience.

Lunch started at $15.. Galbitang lunch was below average... The Galbi was super chewy and look nothing like the photo in menu I can't really chew it. The banchan is not a lot of variety. There was 2 duplicate. Not much services interms of refill etc
