Donna's Caribbean Restaurant

I was craving some Jamaican Oxtails and a Jamaican friend of mine recommended Donna’s. I ordered take out and the dish looked great but the meat was not as tender and delicious as I anticipated. I ordered the large oxtails with rice and peas, steamed veggies and plantains. The rice and peas, plantains and veggies were better than the oxtails. I’ll try another dish but I won’t ever order the oxtails again. I didn’t get enough oxtail sauce. I’m seeking a Jamaican restaurant that can provide me with some really nice and tender oxtails full of flavor where I’d want to go back every week! I was quite disappointed.

I went in, asked permission to play my music They allowed me to play my music and I had a blast. Food was awesome. I had the Oxtail, rice and beans and salad. In fact food was so good, I ordered a second round of oxtails to take home.

Honestly, why must we be cheap and keep using styrofoam for take out. We know especially with oxtail and stew chicken the sauce will leak all over the place and cause a mess. Have consideration for your customer. It’s not about your bottom line it’s about the customer experience before the order and after the order ! Hope this didn’t go over your head

I’ve already made a promise not to ever go back to this location because the attitudes and prices are outrageous. But today I’m officially sold on never supporting this establishment again. Went in to purchase one fish fritter and the lady tried to convince me to buy 3 because of the price. I made it clear that I only wanted one and she told me that they can’t take my debit card payment for 2 fish fritter. You guys are the ultimate worse. I’ve gone into this place on numerous occasions to purchase full breakfast and was served the most minimal amount of food. Shut this place down for Christ sake. You Jamaicans are different!!!!!!!!!!!

Was in Miami Gardens and was starving. Restaurant food is pre-made which makes it fast. Curry goat was good. Much heslthier than esting fast food.
