Donut Cafe

I stopped by this Donut cafe this morning because another donut store nearby wasn't open. I found parking easily since I came in the early morning but the parking spots are limited here unless you park a little farther. When I walked in, I saw that this place charge a credit or debit card fee unless you spend a certain minimum so be aware. I went with a small hot chocolate, a glaze donut and a chocolate glaze donut. I did not like the hot chocolate, it tasted watered down and the chocolate powder was not good at all. I didn't even finish the drink since I didn't like it. The donuts were good, I don't think you can go wrong with donuts anywhere unless it's like old. The place is small inside but you can get your lottery here as well.

Great first impression. Clean & friendly service. Credit card friendly... no added charges. Good taste. They threw in a few free donut holes! A good solid choice for donuts in Simi Valley.

This place is shot. Walked up with my coworkers and I and was already being given smug looks. That's fine I can get past that but don't mess with my ham and cheese. So we all ordered ham and cheeses but I got mine with no jalapenos. He grabs their 2 from the case and barely warms them up. Then proceeded to grab mine from the back and barely nukes mine. No biggie, I can eat them room temp. BUT when I got to the car and opened mine, the ham was hanging out the bread. Nothing wrapped up or anything. Just one piece of ham, cut in two, and exposed like a hotdog in a hotdog bun with no cheese. I've had ham n cheeses everywhere, but not one has disappointed until today. Do better Simi Valley.

Best little hole in the wall donut shop in Simi Valley. The cream puffs are light and fluffy with yummy custard like cream drizzled with chocolate. The donut holes are fire and I can eat 2 dozen by myself. The apple fritters are crispy glazed and one of the best I've ever eaten. I also get the jalapeño ham and cheese croissants warmed and usually get 2 cause by the time I get to work a few blocks away that sucker has been inhaled and I want more.
