Donut Palace

I truly do not want to do this. I have come to this place for 15 to 20 years. They had the best donuts, the icing was subtle not over the top, the donuts were airy and flaky, just a perfect glazed donut. A few a years ago some new people started running it or working it and the quality of the donut just dropped. Here and there it was done right and out of habit I kept going. No more though, the donuts they're selling now are no better than a gas stations or a grocery stores. The people are and always have been great but man I don't know if the recipe changed or the equipment is dirty or whatever. I have 3 kids in elementary school and I came at least once every week and they loved the donuts. 2 of my kids dont even want a donut from this place anymore. I don't know if the owner of this sho

Such wonderful Donuts! Such wonderful staff! Every time we visit Grapevine this is a Go To Palace. The donuts are fresh, moist, and visibly appealing. (Especially the kids donuts) Large apple fitter with great flavor. They also make savory sausage rolls. Filling and flavorful. The best part is that they fill the fruit and custard donuts as ordered.

I love this little family owned donut shop. They are so nice and the donuts are the best around!!!

I mentioned the donuts were for my students and asked if I could bring them a few stickers from the sticker wall. He asked me which kind I wanted, and when he couldn’t find one of those sheets, he took the whole thing off the wall and gave it to me. Super nice.
