Donut Palace

The owner was very rude during my visit. I tried several times to explain that I needed five sets of donut holes for five people, but she kept thinking I only wanted five individual donut holes total. I patiently explained it multiple times, but she became irritated and spoke to me very rudely. Once she finally understood that I meant five sets, she seemed upset about the confusion even though I had been trying to explain it the whole time. Clear communication is important in customer service, and staff should be able to understand basic orders or communicate clearly in English to avoid getting frustrated with customers. To make matters worse, when she handed me my change, she didn’t say thank you or anything at all—just gave me a death stare. It made the whole interaction feel very uncomf

I buy Apple fritters a lot… too much. So far, the donut palace is my choice in Longview. I note that sometimes the $1.95 + tax total varies - bring coins with you. Combined govt taxes are 8.25% for a $2.11 per fritter purchase. I usually give $2.25.

Always get great foods here. They have a $5 minimum card order. I got an item that was exactly $5 and they hit me an hour later for $2.80 😩🤷🏼‍♀️❓❓

The food here is always good. The lady adds in "free" items but I have been over charged and just was again by $5. I didn't realize it until I was adding in my head driving home, had my kid so I didn't go back. I would have ordered more if I had planned to spend more. Another time I was there, she ran my debit card, I watched it go through, she brought it back said it didn't work. Thankfully I have online banking which popped up as soon as she ran it. I showed her it worked. She just smiled and shook her head ok. Watch your money.

Went there for the first time this morning. My wife and I took a minute extra to read over the menu. The lady at the window seemed rushed and said "there are cars in line" then walked away. There was 1 car behind us. We drove away and didn't order anything. The shop was not busy and we were rudely rushed with no offer to help or answer any questions. Not going to do business with a donut shop when there is this type of attitude. We went to another shop nearby. Had great food and no attitude. Cheaper prices too.
