DoughJ's Chicken & Donuts

Oh my goodness. I heard about this place from family. All the "you need to go" comments were right! Inside you are greeted with welcoming smiles and fabulous smells. The variety of donuts is great, and then there is the size. It would take several donuts put together from competitors to equal one of these. I truly believe everyone will love these donuts. I haven't eaten the chicken & biscuits yet, but I know they have to be good too. I will be back again. Heed the warning if get there early. They do go fast and you will be disappointed if you miss them.

While exploring Webster Florida we found DoughJ's chicken and donuts. Oh my are these ever huge and delicious donuts. In the summer they are open Thursday through Saturday. Last week we tried their Southern fried Chicken. All chicken is fried to order when you place your order. The only make a certain number of donuts each day and when they're gone they're gone. We enjoyed our donuts outside on a patio under a huge oak tree with hanging Spanish moss.

Finally made it to this very highly recommended place. First, I have to say, the glazed donuts are very fresh and tasty and you must be there before noon in order to have the best choices. For me, the fried chicken was amazing and the corn nuggets , out of this world. Loved them. I wasn’t impressed with the Mac & cheese though. If you are in the area stop by and enjoy a quaint little place with big taste. We will return.

We’re here for the Sumter County fair and what a delightful surprise. We travel all across the east coast and this is some top tier fried chicken and donuts. We’ll definitely be back

Placed an order for 3 dozen donuts for our boys graduation, had a bit of a hiccup when we arrived but the ladies were very understanding and got our order ready ASAP. They were even sweet enough to give my son one of their specialty donuts, he loved it!!! Everyone at our gathering was crazy over the donuts, I know a few families will be making the drive from Ocala to get some this weekend. 💯 recommended!!! Thank you ladies!!!!
