Doug's Motor City Bar & Grill

As someone who reads reviews for new places to try, we decided to try this place eary this a.m. after taking our daughter back to University. We seated ourselves as sign instructed, the young waitress quickly took our drink order, then our food order. We received our food about 10-12 mins later. It had huge portions & I seasoned to taste, the diet Pepsi has the right amount of carbonation. The biscuits & gravy were so good! All of the food was cooked perfectly.👌 The floors were concrete so they looked dirty, but the place looked clean and the food & service was great as far as refills and checking on us. The waitress was great! The bill was reasonable for the food portions. I'd definitely return here!!!

Reminds me of a old garage or 1980's club, like a distant familiar place. The food, breakfast was good. The potatoes were like thick warm slices ,like potato chips. The biscuits were freaking awesome! , warm and fresh,unlike and cracker barrel crap. The waitstaff was very nice and polite. There's a $1.00 temp fee added to the bill for " The price of eggs" just letting you know what that's about. 😉 Honestly, I'd come back to eat there.

A bar that for whatever reason is now only open 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Food, coffee and service were excellent. Lighting was so dim I could barely read the menu.

Great food, service and atmosphere. My buddy and I stopped by on Tuesday on our way home from Tennessee to Indiana, our waitress was super nice, they accidentally made him regular pancakes instead of blueberry but noticed before they sent them to him, they ended up sending them out to him and still made his blueberry pancakes. Waitress got a nice tip because of her service and the fact my buddy thought she was the most beautiful girl he had seen. Would definitely eat there again if I'm in the area

No wait for seating. Our waitress was very nice. Food was not exceptional, but was still good. Not sure it I would make a special trip back here but not opposed to visiting again.
