D.P. Dough

i understand that this business has a new owner and ive ordered from them 3 times since then in the last month and a half. delivery took an hour and a half, food was cold. second, my bbq chicken came without bbq and bacon, and my last ranch buffer today came so undercooked i decided to put it in my own oven to finish cooking it for them. ive been eating dp dough for the better part of the last 15 years but i wont be ordering from this place ever again.

ever since the new owners have taken over, this place has become a can’t miss spot. i work late so it’s one of the few spots in town i can rely on being open when i get off work, the food is consistently good and the ingredients are fresh. they just did a remodel of the inside as well. my favorite is the chicken bacon ranch zone and the tiramisu shouldn’t be slept on either

D.P. Dough is amazing. I ordered the Pepperoni Calzone & the Roni Zoni. It was hot and great tasting. D.P. Dough is a restaurant I highly recommend!

Seems like portions have gotten smaller in the last month. Wait times have increased. Pretty sure it got bought and they fired everyone. Haven't seen any of the consistent workers there anymore.

Review written 11/20/2024. Located on the edge of the UIUC campus, this is a calzone pickup and delivery restaurant. If you order online you can get some deals and discounts. Tasty and hot and fresh. However, the calzone did not have much cheese in it. It had tons of ranch in it but they did not put much cheese in it. Also, the crust is very dry. Only giving 3 stars for atmosphere because they had super loud music playing to the point the employee couldn’t hear my name for pickup order even when I tried to like shout my name. Also the menu on the counter to look through was pretty dirty and could definitely use being replaced.
