Customer Reviews
A fantastic restaurant for anyone who truly appreciates high-quality food. There is a huge selection of fish, seafood, and meat — no one will leave hungry. The menu is excellent. The local oysters were delicious, and I never thought I would enjoy grilled oysters with garlic, but they were absolutely outstanding — truly above all praise. Any grilled oysters I’ve tried elsewhere were never even close to how good they were here. I also tried alligator tacos for the first time in my life, and it was something absolutely incredible. They were insanely delicious. I had never tried a dish like this before and never expected to like it this much. I will definitely be ordering them again. I also loved the presence of live flowers throughout the restaurant — there were even beautiful fresh flower
Came here for the charbroiled oysters that locals recommended and WOW! They were the best I've had 10/10. My family and I enjoyed our meals. Family friendly vibe and the service was good. I'll be back the next time I'm in N.O.
Brought my lovely date all the way from Fairhope, Alabama to have the famous Charbroiled Oysters and they were worth the trip. We got to watch them being prepared, and that experience alone has created a wonderful memory for us both. Plus, the look of pure pleasure on her face as she tasted her first bite was wonderful. And get this, no sweet tea available😳. But hey, it’s not a deal breaker, just surprising considering it’s New Orleans. Highly recommended!
It has been awhile since I been there. My mom, Paulina used to worked as kitchen help. The place is clean and not crowded for lunch. We were sitted right away. My sister came from the Philippines and wanted to see where my mom used to work. Anyway, the food was delicious. The best charbroiled oysters in town. They were big and plump. We had the alligator bites which was surprisingly tender and flavorful. Entrees we had the baked salmon, friend shrimp Poboys, grilled shrimp with angel hair pasta in creole sauce (delicious but the pasta is not al dente a little over cooked). Otherwise everything was delicious and flavorful not salty. We even had a complimentary brownie al mode because it was my sister's birthday. What a meal to send her off to the airport for a flight back to the Philippin
First time. I'd visit again. My spinach dip with added grilled shrimp was good the temp wasn't what I would have like, felt luke warm. The sweet potato fries and crabcake were awesome. The waitress London-job well done. Thank you so much. She recommended the Mediterranean something with baked fish-which was drum. I'll be back to try. Because the other items filled my belly.
