Driftwoods Seafood & Steak Restaurant

If you don't want to make the trek east to the Marshwalk, Driftwoods has a solid seafood selection & quality. Not pictured are some of the best hush puppies I've had. Cool boat & fish centric decor. I would visit again.

Waitress (Abree) was great. Refilled drinks without being asked. Food arrived quickly. It was hot and delicious. Shrimp were prepared just right, tender and not chewy. Flounder was tasty and flaky, not mushy. Will definitely be back!

10/7/25: Our party of four was quite pleased with the friendliness and attentiveness of server Ethan White. The two pieces of meatloaf were sizable and delicious. More scallops than you’d expect with the scallop dinner. Finished off the meal with Driftwoods homemade bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and whipped topping. Don’t visit here without trying (or sharing) this large dessert. The best we have had on this vacation. We both had the all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. Chefs kiss! Wonderful. The prices eeeryecvellent also. No over priced food. Our server Jimmy Burke was amazing. I will go so far as to say the best server I have ever had. Wonderful personality. He really seems to enjoy his job which goes a long long way. We will definitely return. Highly recommend. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Update: our first trip here was great! You can read below. We were just here last weekend and it was horrible! Cold She Crab soup that I had to send back, my husband wanted the special of blackened sirloin and scallops. Steak was tough and the scallops a joke. I had the chicken marsala and it was salty, chicken was overcooked and the mashed potatoes were like glue. We asked our server if they had a new cook because the food was just horrible. I even sent an email with no response. Sad because I thought we had found a new awesome place. OLD REVIEW: Stuffed flounder was excellent and the She Crab soup is the best I have had since we moved down here and I have tried it many places. Reasonable prices too.
