Dude's Drive Inn

Ordered a BLT to go. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The sandwich is the saddest thinnest BLT I have ever ordered from anywhere. Tomatoes were paper thin… zero tomato flavor. Very greasy. Bacon taste good. This could be the worst review I’ve ever left. To be fair, I didn’t bother to reach out to the restaurant. This is just like thrown together like nobody cared. I will never order a BLT from Dudes ever again, Nor do I recommend it.

So I saw a review on Redding Buzz that talked about supporting this local place and we are new to the Redding area. So I sent my husband there to grab some dinner. He grabbed a pastrami burger which him and I split and a french fry which him and I also split. And this was a perfect dinner for him and I and our 4 year old daughter got french fries and a chicken nuggets which were perfect for her. This was probably one of the better Burgers I've ever had in my life. The pastrami burger was fire. I got it with everything that just normally comes on it. My husband added jalapenos to his half when he got home, but my husband was an executive chef for a long time and we both agreed that this was a really, really good Burger.

Very good food. Ordered a burger with bacon and fries and a rootbeer. Also ordered fried mushrooms, which were super yummy! The staff was incredibly friendly and the price was good too. It has a nice old fashion burger joint feel but don't take my word for it, go see them the next time your in town.

We live nearby and have frequented this place for a long time. They have made a lot of changes and not for the better sadly, lately food had been cold, multiple things have been wrong with my order like paying to add bacon to my burger and paying for it only to get home and realize theres no bacon....and the time to get food has gotten really bad. The French fry change up is a big disappointment they used to be so good, simple salty and crispy now they taste like the frozen seasoned fries from the dollar store. They still have a great atmosphere and are a staple in the area but in the last 6 months they've lost their touch sadly not sure if I'll be back...

This place used to be one of the best burger places in Redding but has went completely downhill! My last 2 times here have been awful experiences. My work crew and I got lunch and all of us said the burger tasted 2 days old and reheated, super dry. Mushrooms were disgusting and fries were terrible! My work will definitely never be back here for lunch!
