Duke's Place Bottoms Up Bar & Grill

Went to Duke's Saturday night Jan 24. Got there around 6:25 pm. Ordered eggplant rollatini as a appetizer, two glasses of red wine, and a large chicken parmigiana pizza. Waitress had to come back 3 times and ask about what we ordered...then she forgot about the drinks we ordered. It took over an hour to get our appetizer and it was cold in the middle, literally not cooked. We sent that back and never got a replacement. We kept asking how much longer for our food (pizza) and the waitresses had no answer. We watched multiple families get up to leave b/c they too never got food. By 8 pm we were done. We told them were were leaving at which point the bartender came over and apologized and said there were having problems in the kitchen.... I understand kitchen issues but the waitstaff should h

I ordered a take out pizza about 4:00 on a Thursday afternoon. I ordered a large "the works" pizza with extra onions on half. They said it would be about 20 minutes which was actually 35 minutes, no big deal. When I stopped in to pick it up the "cook" said making the pizza was a new experience for her. She went on to say that she is the manager and they are having issues trying to find a cook. I brought it home and my wife and myself had 1 piece each and did not have any more. The sausage was very thick and looked like it was in the refrigerator too long. It did not have a good taste to it and we were afraid we would get sick if we ate any more. Worse experience ever. We ordered at 5:50pm and as of 7:05pm we still had not received our food. The manager and owner were the only two people working in the kitchen. No food was coming out to the many tables that were seated. Our server rarely came around and when we asked another server to get our server so we could pay for our drinks she would not come by. We left our money on the table as well as a good tip (which I don’t know why but it wasn’t her fault)and walked out. The only reason we stayed as long as we did was because of music bingo. Such a shame because the man running music bingo was great. Save yourself time and don’t bother with this restaurant.

What a great find! Clean and welcoming establishment. Loved the Patriotic decor. Judy was very nice and informative about the food and events they have there. Our first time at Dukes so I can only comment on the pizza which was amazing! Toppings were very fresh, it was sooooo good!!!! Stop in and check it out, you won't be disappointed! ♥

Seated at 7 pm got our food at 8:30. 3/4 of the restaurant was empty and from what I saw everyone already had their food and most people were just drinking watching the band. Penne alla vodka sauce was bland, clam sauce was terrible and clams were small and all I got was clam chowder, knots were refrigerator cold with the clams and we never got one with the Penne. I had to get up two different times to ask for a refill of diet coke and wine while we waited the 90 mins bc our server never check on our table IN 90 MINUTES. Won’t be coming back and idk who rated this place 4.5 stars. UPDATE: The manger who responded below, is not talking about me, as NONE of that happened.
