Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen

Went for brunch today, my second time here and it always a pleasure being served. The food is great and service was good. Big shout to my amazing server Luke, he took good care of me and provided exceptional service. The guy has a great spirit, and overall I enjoyed the food. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting and the staff made me feel welcomed and taken care of. That alone already set the tone for a great visit. The food, though, was the star of everything. Every dish was presented beautifully, packed with flavor, and clearly made with care. You can tell when a kitchen puts love into their cooking, and that’s exactly what I tasted. The seasoning was balanced, the textures were perfect, and everything came out fresh and hot. I hadn’t been to this restaurant in a while, so I’ll admit I was a little curious — hoping the food and the vibe would still be just as amazing as when I used to go all the time. And as expected… 10 out of 10, just like before. Let’s start with the customer service, because that’s huge for me. From the moment I arrived, everyone was warm and welcoming — from the host at the door, to the amazing Chef Mark, to our server Felipe, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. This was our first time at Dukunoo. We sat at the bar where Egypt the bartender took care of us. She was great we loved her welcoming energy! :) she recommended the beef rib and the oxtail which we tried and it was so good! Great choice Egypt. The beef rib was so big! Definitely worth it!

The food was amazing, authentically Jamaican! The music went well with perfecting the atmosphere. Our server accommodated all our needs and even switched out a drink that was not liked free of charge. I will definitely be back when I come back to Miami.
