Dune Burger

Best burger joint on the obx! Visited from Las Vegas a few months ago and coming back this February 2026. Can’t wait to see you again! ☺️💞

This place is exactly what you expect from a burger shack literally in the sand. The burgers are great, wrapped in paper, and just the amount of flat top grease you expect from a smash burger. The fries are shoestring and tasty. I haven't tried their hot dogs, but the folks in my group that have said it was great hot dog. All in all, the place is great for what it is, and a perfect late lunch spot.

We arrived to OBX before our house was ready, so we decided find a place for lunch. We decided to try Dune Burger. The burgers were delicious along with the onion rings. When we went, there was a sign stating no shakes. The parking lot is small. They have plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your meal.

Updating from one star to five! Service and food were much better second time around. Good choice for fast casual dining. Hot dog was juicy but the burger was a little dry. Overall it was great for the price point.

For one people have said this place is great undoubtedly you've never had a real burger. This place serves frozen patties that tastes horrible if I could have given a zero, I would have the only thing descent from this place was the fries. The rest was just BAD!!!!
