Dunham Public Library

LOVE taking my son to this library but where did all the toys go? We live in Rome and intentionally drive to this library for their great toy selection. Henry (my son) loves playing with the toys especially when other kids are there. We went last week and all but a few toys are gone. I understand if a few toys were taken away due to pieces being broken but most of the toys that were there were in great condition. It’s just not worth the drive if there’s hardly any toys for him to interact with. Really hoping the toys come back.

Theresa at the library was very rude. She was yelling at the children and telling them to read the signs when they are literally two years old and don’t know how to read also calling parents bad parents for not being able to control the kids just because they were not whispering. Kids will be kids and they will be a little louder than adults. If they do not want children there they should not have a children’s section. She was also saying that they were making a mess when they were just playing with the toys that were provided for them and we cleaned everything up when we left as we do every single time. And there were multiple parents there that were baffled By her attitude toward them and the children pretty much kicking us out.

Helpful and friendly staff. Summer activities for kids. Books on sale every day. A wonderful place. Plenty of parking and easy access off Main street.

I love the place but why place a book named goodnight punpun in the kids section it literally says explicit content I don't think it's for kids

Me and my friends walked into the library and we weren't with this other group. We then got yelled at by the worker saying "There are adults and kids working here if I have to remind you again I'll kick you guys out.I don't even want you guys here anyways." Like we just walked into the dang library and two of the other kids were banned in the other group but she did NOT have a right to yell at us when we just got into the library.And we just wanted to go on the computers.
