Dunkin'

I visited the Dunkin’ Donuts near my home and had a disappointing in-store experience this morning. While I was waiting to order, an older gentleman was helped before me, which was fine. However, after handing him his muffin, the staff member walked away without acknowledging that I was still waiting. A brief explanation or even a quick acknowledgment would have gone a long way, but instead I was left standing there without any communication. It appeared that only two employees were working at the time, and a few minutes later the second employee let me know she would help me when she had time. This is not the first time I’ve experienced long wait times at this location. On a previous visit, I waited about 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich, even though there were only around four custom

I want to talk about the service first. The girl at the cash register was fast, kind, and efficient! The problem was a big group of girls making only drinks and most of the time they'd only play with their hair. They took a while to make our food, but eventually, they got our food to us, and they got the order right. The food was good and it was warm. The atmosphere was nice and pretty clean. Overall, the place and food were good, but the service was kind of slow. I recommend it if you're going to take it out.

The sandwich was a little overheated, though it still had the classic Dunkin’ taste. It was rush hour, but the staff moved fast and we got our order quickly. A bit more attention to food temperature would make the experience perfect.

I feel like 3 stars is a stretch but I’m feeling generous. Went through the drive thru this morning around 8:15am. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel toasted, hash browns and a medium double-double coffee. (I explained double the cream and double the sugar of a normal medium coffee) waited almost 15 minutes from the time of order to the time of getting my food. Coffee wasn’t made right and the hash browns were cold (cool to the touch). They at least got the sandwich right. No wonder this place is only hovering just above 3 stars.
