tried this spot in new york since we were craving a german kebab. this spot did not disappoint. quick service and accessible location but most importantly delicious food. i ordered the mixed meat wrap and it was heavenly. packed with lots of flavor and veggies i was full off of 1/2 and ate the other 1/2 for lunch the next day. ambience is alright, trendy for a quick service grab and go. the logo is a bit corny/tacky to my liking. would recommend for a quick delicious meal! also ordered the baklava and it was a bit too firm and dry for my liking, but good nonetheless.
the logo of Döner Haus place seems to be a hat tip to a famous porn site bc the logo is like a parallel of it--weird flex but whatever. but hey it whatever it takes to get people to stop consuming pornography and start consuming food. before you rush to judgement of anyone for knowing the connecting re: the logo...it's not a galaxy-brained mystery if you are extremely online you know this and a metric ton of digital information that absolutely useless for anything but memes and gifs. anyway, the döner comes way of Turkish immigrant cuisine out of Germany...it's basically sliced halal seasoned chicken or halal beef cooked on a vertical rotisserie, add a layers of fresh veggies, herbs, and a white sauce and sandwich that in a pocket bread or wrap...and there you have the basics of a döner. i
Hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve had. The döner was SLAPPING good. fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Reminds me when I was doing my euro travels. Shoutout to Carlina at the counter, her hospitality and energy made the whole experience even better. She truly went above and beyond. Definitely coming back! -Saif -Hamza
I ordered the beef sandwich with fries and never again. They gave me too much beef, it wasn’t fresh and the fries were OK. The workers aren’t friendly and below are pictures I took of spoiled lettuce in my sandwich. Döner Haus, do better. This is gross.
A very nice experience; I really liked the place. It has a pleasant and beautiful atmosphere, the food was delicious and fresh, and the service from the young man, Dann Esteban Lasso, was excellent—very attentive and very patient. I would definitely come back.
