Must try!! On my quest to find the Best Independent Coffee Shop in the Sacramento Region…I may have found it! In fact, it currently holds my #1 Ranking. What a breath of fresh air East Ave Cafe is! You walk in into the freshly appointed shop and are instantly greeted by a barista. Not only instantly, but sincerely greeted making you feel welcomed as a guest of theirs. The interior is all brand new and clean feeling. Subtle music playing with plenty of places to sit. The menu is straightforward with enough choices but not too many. I ordered a large Cold Brew with toffee crunch syrup. Finally an independent shop that doesn’t have the sour, fruity tasting coffee that most do in the Sac region. East Ave Cafe is one of my favorite spots to grab coffee. The drinks are always smooth, well-made, and consistently delicious. It’s the kind of place you can count on whether you’re starting your morning or grabbing a midday pick-me-up. Great coffee, friendly vibes, and a spot that feels like a local staple. Highly recommend!

New local town coffee shop that has been in the works for a long time. The place is nice and there is plenty of seating to enjoy your drink and food. The staff is friendly and does what they can being a staff of one when we visited. Perhaps a second person would help at peak hours. The food was good, a breakfast sandwich, and an english muffin. Drinks were good, standard coffee shop items which is what you are going there for. This is a good place to go to keep it local for your morning coffee.

A nice new coffee shop has just opened, bringing some much-needed charm to this busy stretch of road. Whether you're in the mood for a rich espresso, a refreshing iced tea, or a caffeine-free option, their menu has something for everyone. Their selection of locally made snacks pairs perfectly with any drink, offering a tasty way to support small businesses. I'm so happy to see this corner used for something like this after growing up down the street and always seeing an unused lot. The atmosphere is just as inviting as the menu—cozy, stylish, and perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done. It's clear that thought went into making this a comfortable, welcoming space. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Nice little coffee spot. Plenty of room inside. Staff were super friendly. Our group had a variety of their coffees and all were good. Plenty of seats outside also. Overall a very nice quiet place to meet and have coffee.
