East Bay Deli - Columbia

Two empty plates of food…compliments to the chef! My husband & I began our love for East Bay Deli in Charleston but I’ve found that this location is just as yummy! The Reuben w/fries is my goto. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. Staff are extremely welcoming & helpful. Cleanliness is always great. Overall a great experience each time. Kayla is your manager here. Enjoy!

The atmosphere was electric with all the Christmas decorations. The food was fresh and hot with fried food not being greasy. The service was phenomenonal. I ordered chicken Tenders with fries, and my daughter ordered a patty melt with fries. I will be back. Restaurant and restrooms very clean.

I don’t typically write reviews but when in Columbia, East Bay Deli is generally a stop! Tonight, Tina rocked my Reuben! Perfectly grilled, and well portioned! Looking forward to this sandwich all day and this one is a banger! Oh - Don’t forget your slice of cake!

Some places just get it right. Stopped into East Bay Deli on Main Street with a friend and the whole experience felt effortless — the kind you hope for but rarely get. The food was excellent: fresh, satisfying, exactly what you want when you walk through the door. Austin took great care of us. Attentive without hovering, helpful without being asked. The kind of service that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. 10/10. We’ll be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a great experience at East Bay Deli, and Austin really made it stand out. He was friendly, attentive, and clearly knew what he was doing. He checked in at the right times without hovering and made sure everything came out exactly how it should. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving good service, which makes a big difference. The food was solid as always, but Austin’s professionalism and positive attitude are what really made the visit enjoyable. I’d be happy to be helped by him again.
