Some of the food is very old and poor quality, despite their high price, one would expect better than other places. For example, I have experienced rotten dates many times. Or leftover meat. It seems that the meat is not halal at all because the blood clots in the muscles are visible even after thorough washing and cooking in a pot. Halal meat is completely recognizable. If this continues, this place should be closed before someone gets seriously sick!!
Serious Concern About Meat Quality — Needs Immediate Attention I have been purchasing meat from East Market for a long time and was always satisfied with the quality. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. During this visit, a middle-aged man, approximately 40–50 years old, was handling the meat section and sold me meat that he claimed was “fresh and received from the slaughterhouse the day before.” However, when I brought the meat home, it had a very strong and unpleasant odor and appeared to be several weeks old and unsafe for consumption. This raises serious concerns about the lack of proper oversight on freshness, expiration dates, and product quality in this store. I truly hope that the management addresses this issue immediately to prevent the sale of spo
Pleasantly surprised... Dare I even say life-changing..Our friend brought us here and wow how wonderful. We're vegetarian and they have several options.. Recommend everything. Our friend had a lamb dish.. Everything comes with rice and has more than ample portions.. This is definitely a casual dining experience; don't expect being waited on.. You order, they bring your food, you have to ask for your bill and you go up front to pay.. We will definitely be back.
Round bread test is very good , but the qaulity is low. need your attention.
I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes, especially looking forward to trying their qabili. Unfortunately, I was left quite disappointed. When I ordered, I expected the authentic dish—fragrant, spiced rice with tender meat, carrots, and raisins. Instead, what I received was plain rice with meat, missing the hallmark ingredients that make qabili so special. It almost seemed like the kitchen wasn’t familiar with what goes into a true qabili recipe. I’m giving them two stars solely because their service was friendly and attentive, but the quality of the food didn’t match up. If you’re hoping for an authentic Afghan dining experience, this might not be the place.
