East Troy House Restaurant-Bar

Food was wonderful overall, however the waitress we had that day really didn't seem to want to be there, but other than that, we were pleased with the food and would try it again.

Stopped by the East Troy House while passing through Wisconsin and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a welcoming, classic tavern feel with plenty of local charm—lots of history and fun décor on the walls that makes it cozy but lively. The cheeseburger was spot-on: juicy, perfectly cooked, and stacked with fresh toppings. I also tried the buffalo cheese curds—crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, with just the right amount of kick from the buffalo sauce. Easily some of the best curds I’ve had in the area. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion size. Saturday for lunch. No wait. Very nice and clean. Tables are regular height and some alittle higher, Hooray for no booths. We sat and were greated right away. Menu, Drink menu and Specials all right there, plus soup of the day. Bloody Mary was very good. Potatoe soup was Amazing. Husband had a Beautiful burger cooked to his liking, fries were very good. My Reuben was one of the best I've had. Saurkraut had a little horseradish bite that was Amazing. Everything plated beautiful. Service was Very good. We will be back. Thank you, keep up the Great job.

Agree with all the other posts, the fish fry is one of the best! Overall a cool atmosphere and nice staff too. Definitely a good find and enjoyable place!

plenty of space either at the bar or one of the tables. Great menu! Great service! the fish sandwich is huge and very tasty. 🐋 East Troy is such a walkable Town square and there's no better location than East Troy house.
