Eastern Style Pizza

First time visitin this spot and my overall experience was good. I got the Mozerella Cheesy Beef Grinder- the portion was great for the price. The fries are gurthy and crispy which was great. I’m glad I could try it out- if you’re a big italian beef fan- try it out!

My wife and I were on a day trip to the north Chicago area. 30 years ago I worked in this area and often went to Eastern Pizza for lunch and it was always great, especially the grinders. I suggested it to my wife and was pleasantly surprised to find it still in business and under the same owners. I had the Philly Cheese Steak grinder, she had the spinach feta Stromboli, absolutely delicious and amazing. As good if not better than I remembered. Now I need to make excuses to travel from Wisconsin and go to Eastern Pizza for more meals. My cardiologist won’t approve, but the food is phenomenal. Thank you Eastern Pizza!

A good friend of mine had been raving about this spot for the last couple of weeks so he finally took us out to try it. The restaurant is a good size but had no restrooms; so make sure you use it before you go! Some of the tables were not properly cleaned off so we spent some a little of time finding a clean table. Besides that, the people and the food were AMAZING. I had ordered the chicken monterrey grinder, which is an oven-baked sandwich and WOWW, this was easily one of the best and filling sandwiches that I've had. The sandwich is huge and a great bang for your buck. I also ordered the steak fries which were great with the sandwich. I'm also a pizza head so I had to try their pizza. I ordered a small pepperoni and it was okay. I would definitely just stick with the grinders when order

STROMBOLI ARE AMAZING! I don’t know why more people have not commented on them. The Italian sausage is so savory and flavorful. My husband and I ordered two small stromboli and they will feed us for at least 2 times each. Not your Stromboli from Sbarro! 😝 The website isn’t perfect and the customer service is not fantastic (the times the quoted us for pick up were about 20 minutes too slow), but if you consider this and just patiently wait you will love it. Very clean and family-owned.

The food is incredible! I just wanted to mention the service takes a little bit to get your order ready, but hey, that's okay. The atmosphere is pretty casual, like a really clean Little Caesars. Nothing fancy, just a good spot for a quick bite..
