Eastport Luncheonette

reason for 3 stats is because I ordered the breakfast special. Pepper jack sausage burrito. Alittle weird having a crispy burrito wrap but inside was delicious. the thing that bothered me most was it was just a burrito on a plate. no potatoes or toast. it was just by itself. not special at all. I'll still go back but I definitely won't order a special. 13 dollars for a lonely burrito isn't worth it. Service was great. Gave the usual 33 percent tip. but that was for the waitress. She was great.

Everyone was friendly, yes. But we were seated a the counter right in front of the grill. Wow. What a mess. I almost left after seeing the chef up close and how he managed the orders and grill. He was only wearing one glove. Egg shells and garbage right next to food cooking. The floor was covered in scraps. Just generally unappetizing.

Always a great place for breakfast or lunch. Good food, great staff.. wonderful atmosphere. Simple life!

The owner Keith's mom, Noreen, worked at this spot and then bought it many moons ago, was a huge Stevie Ray Vaughan fan who lovingly named one of her shake concoctions after the legendary blues icon so how can one NOT stop in for a meal?! Adorably quaint family owned spot that serves up delicious healthy solid portions of breakfast and lunch options. If you were looking for some frou frou sparkling water ladened uniformed wait staff white table cloth kind of experience here, then you truly don't belong here. However, if you want dishes that are home grown, not pretentious, solid and consistent with a staff who all are really friendly and actually smiling when they come to take your order, then look no further. Lots of locals coming and and ordering their fave dishes. I loved their homema
