Eat Greek Express

I haven't done a review in quite awhile, but it's time I have eaten here twice the first time I had a gyro and salid, they were both excellent. My son and I were looking for a place to talk and eat. This place did not disappoint. Quiet able to talk, and another excellent meal this time he had the gyro and I had Shawarma, saw so many people talking about it in the reviews. Nothing else to say but it was EXCELLENT. quiet atmosphere,great service, great food. What else can you ask for? Thank you for the hospitality.

The service was very good and the food was outstanding! We got the chicken shawarma on rice and it was delicious! We also got some Greek fries and they were so good! If you like French fries, then I would definitely recommend them. If you’re in the Columbus area, this restaurant is worth going to!

First time stopping here and I think maybe I just didn’t order the right things, got the 3 dip appetizer, spinach feta is okay, didn’t like baba ganoush but that could be true everywhere it’s the first time I’ve ever had it. The tzatziki was also okay but definitely not the best I’ve ever had. The lemon chicken soup (Avgolemono?) was not very good, its like okay, I guess, but it doesn’t look like any I’ve ever had before, and the taste is just not it. The salad with chicken is really good though! I read other reviews that say they do certain things really well and I think some of the stuff I ordered were not those things lol but I will definitely go back and try again!

Went because I was craving a good old fashioned Horiatiki salad (cucumber, tomato, feta and onion with vinegar sauce) and instead they gave me a box of lettuce with banana peppers, bell peppers and all kinds of stuff that's not horiatiki salad. Absolutely disappointed that a Greek restaurant can't even make Greek food correct. Guess I'll be going to WG grinders for a proper Greek salad because the sun shop does it better than the Greek shop somehow. See in photos the photo posted of two salads side by side. So delicious! Lamb Gyro and salad was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent! Oh and the lemon chicken soup is out of this world yummy!
