Eat Me Gourmet

Chef Peter makes his food fresh and delicious. His fried chicken is amazing. He's out on the floor too when he isn't too busy in the kitchen. He'll stop by your table and ask how you like the food. Be honest, but I am sure you'll only have good things to say.

Damn good menu selection to choose from, I basically wanted it all. I had the bbq shrimp topped mac n' cheese, which was delicious. Also the cheese curds and mozz sticks are sooo appetizing, especially with that special sauce it's served with. Our server was so kind and talkative and really made us feel welcome!

This is truly an amazing place; the atmosphere reminds me of my small town home in this big old city. Lots of laughs, good country/blue grass music, and exceptional food make this a must try when visiting Westport. After all where can you get gourmet cuisine after hours in K.C.? Why not Eat Me Gourmet in the heart of Westport. Thanks for the memories. My favorite menu item would have to be the King Beef. This is a monstrous mound of slow roasted top round beef, crispy coleslaw, fried to perfection onion straws, and their signature Dr. Smokes barbeque sauce all for just ten dollars.

To all the idiots who gave this place 1-2 stars....CALL YOUR ORDER IN!! I always get my food immediately...no complaints, quality always on point!! Best hole in the wall joint and best kept secret restaurantin town ever!! I have friends who own restaurants come eat here and they're in awe at the food! That says a lot!

Menu sounded great. Food was mediocre. Had a cuban and cajun fries. Both very soggy, fries were way over-seasoned. Couldn't eat them. Disappointed. Might give it one more shot and try their mac & cheese...
