We were able to build our custom pasta maker with kind help from the store staff.

I was hesitant to go here because of the other reviews, but I needed something for tonight, so I stopped in. The staff was not super rude, as other reviewers have commented. They were just Philly. Not apt to ask you if you need help a million times, but efficient and businesslike when you asked for it. Prices were on the high side for the items I purchased (compared to other restaurant supply stores I frequent), but not insane. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in here again for restaurant items.

I called to discuss the purchase of a pair of fryers either new or used. Very rude. Not forthcoming with any information of why one used fryer was more than another one. Because of the salesman's attitude I would be very hesitant to deal with this company. He told me I was wasting his time when I asked questions and hung up on me. This is not the Economy Restaurant Supply store I remember from when my dad was in the bar business.

Migali is a commercial refrigeration and cooking manufacturer and has been supplying Economy for over 60 years! Over the years we have found that Economy's staff is very knowledgeable about almost any commercial kitchen product you could want...furthermore, they stand by the brands they offer by providing sound advice and exceptional after market service. If you want a polite, pencil pushing salesperson who has limited, superficial knowledge about kitchen products and features, then maybe Economy isn't right for you. But if you want a professional company and knowledgable staff that stand by their products and customers, then Economy is the best choice around!
