Eddie’s Little Shop & Deli

I was going to get Wendy’s today after fieldwork in Alexandria, but then I saw a post of the sandwich on Sara Stusek’s Instagram and HAD to go. I got the Sophia and the homemade mozzarella was to the best I’ve ever had. It was not very spicy and had such great flavors! The sandwich also has WEIGHT to it haha it is filling and delicious and worth every penny. I also got the potato salad, will also be getting it again. And I got a German root beer. Sooo good! 15/10 will be bringing every person I know back to this place. New fav sandwich spot and can’t wait to go back later this week!! We also met THE Eddie and what an honor. Also opened Jackson’s and Uncle Julio’s in Reston so we knew it was gonna be legit. 15/10 experience overall.

My go to sandwich shop. Stop here a minimum of once a week…the chicken cutlets are easily the best in the DMV. All their sandwiches are well thought out and made with care and consistency. The staff are warm and welcoming and you get that small deli feel like i grew up with back in NY.

My office ordered about 15 sandwiches today. They were ready to pickup at the time it said they would be ready. Everyone's sandwich looked delicious. Everyone said they were delicious. I know mine was. The vote was unanimous. I would put these sandwiches up against others anywhere else for competition. They were amazing.

I ordered the Sophia and it was delicious! Cute little shop with window seating and self serve water available. Street parking was easy on a Monday. Will come back!

The Roma sandwich was excellent. It has chicken cutlet straccietella house made romanesco sauce pesto and arugula on a fresh seeded Italian bread. The Tuna was fresh and contains olives and fennel and is topped with a nice slice of provolone citrus mayo arugula and onion. It is on the sweeter side. We would have liked the ciabatta toasted more or the Italian bread with sesame seeds and heavier on the onion which are personal choices. They gave us samples of their fresh mozzarella which is also excellent. They have counter seating at a window bar and outside seating. Would definitely go back.
