Customer Reviews
This place is a great stop! Super delicious food and dessert. Ordered the bacon chicken wrap and the huckleberry pie with huckleberry ice cream. They also have a barista window where you can get tea and coffee that’s open from 730 to 3. A gift shop with alcohol adjoins this cafe. Delicious. Perfect for a quick stop after a long day of hiking. Service is prompt and friendly.
Love this place. Between going to get food like the huckleberry cobbler and the onion rings are so good to getting souvenirs for friends and family and always getting ice cream every night while camping. It’s a great place. Our family has been coming to glacier every year for years and this is a family favorite.
A nice stop while in the park. Conveniently located right on Lake McDonald, with breathtaking views of the lake and back country. Plenty of shopping options, and a restaurant too. A bit prices to eat, but you're paying for the views and location.
This is a great place for lunch or dinner. Breakfast may also be served but I guess it wasn't an option early in the season. The restaurant is behind the park gates but is privately owned. The staff is really friendly and efficient. They hustle around as a team making sure guest's needs are cared for. Service is quick. The food is better than one might expect, especially for a restaurant inside a national park. The turkey BLT is a great sandwich, particularly after a nice hike. Also, try the huckleberry ice cream. It's delicious. The bar has several choices of beers and well drinks. The bartender(s) are pretty special. As is anywhere in Glacier National Park, parking can be a real challenge. Plan accordingly.
There are very limited places to eat in West Glacier Park and Eddies Cafe & Gifts is close to Lake MacDonald. Note: there is no internet service in this area!! So, you can’t read reviews. Their outdoor dining area is lovely. With the nice weather, we choose to sit there in the shade. Parking is quite difficult and you’ll probably have to circle a few times. During the peak season, it gets very busy in Apgar Village. I’d have to say it’s a little pricey for the food you’re getting. All 3 of us tried the Montana Cowboy Burger. Not worth it! Plus getting fries, sweet potato fries or onion rings is an up charge. First of all, the burger patty doesn’t seem like an Angus burger; not freshly made, not juicy and very dry. It seemed like a frozen patty that had been reheated up or put under a hea
