Edgar's Restaurant

Wonderful experience at Edgar's. Wing Wednesday, so we got the tossed wings w/Thai Chile sauce as an appetizer. Crispy outside, tender inside - very nice! My LW ordered a wedge salad and the smoked mac-n-cheese. I opted for the Brisket French Dip with a side of Skillet potatoes. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The Chef even stopped by our table and we had a great conversation with him. Can't wait to go back!

My fiancé and I visited for Valentine’s Day while in town for a wedding. We were a little disappointed at being seated at a table with several others as we would have liked a more intimate table. The prime ribs took a bit long, but were fairly good. The service and band were great. Our server, Deszare’e was very professional and even gave us both chocolates and me a rose at the end.

We had my mom’s birthday dinner here and the food was so NASTY for the prices they charge. The gumbo was watery the greens tasted like fish the frog legs were soggy the seafood pasta was bland and dry! The only good things were the half chicken lemon drops and the service from Dezz!

My friend had a reservation at 730 for 15 and 14 showed up. The entire group was there by 740. We had one waitress. They brought out water and cold bread to the table. When she brought the bread out the 2nd time it warm and under cooked( doughy). Everyone at the table except me finally gets their drink. I wait another 15 min for my drink while another person in the party ordered another drink and received it before I got my first. I ordered glazed crispy shrimp with salad 15 the 5 small shrimp and glaze were good. That cold salad with glob of nasty dressing ugh. The barbecue spaghetti was good the ribtips could have been a bit more tender but overall descent. The Mac n cheese worse ever in my life. No flavor at all the cheese was clumpy. We were surprised to find Edgar's located inside a golf course but the restaurant was large and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was early on a Saturday night and the restaurant was empty but the large bar area was crowded. Before we left a large party arrived and a few more tables filled but it was not too crowded. We were told the ingredients for our cocktails were not available due to a large party the previous night then waited 30 min for the oysters Rockefeller, which were overcooked. I tried the ribs that seemed to be reheated and we got the smoked chicken that was pretty good. The grilled potatoes were raw inside and the greens were undercooked and lacked any flavor. Prices were a little high for the quality of the food. Overall the staff were great, the restaurant was ni
