I had the best time🥂 The service provided by Ulises, bartender, was so great he made me feel that I was the only patron at the restaurant when in actuality it was a full house on this Karaoke Friday night. The beautiful Santa, part owner, was attentive in making sure that the service provided was topnotch. She asked what champagne is my favorite to make sure is part of the one they keep in their wine fridge. Lastly, the food...WOW just look at the pic and you tell me if it's not mouthwatering!!!!!

Me and wife trying new spot, I had the chilaquiles with eggs, the tortilla was more like chips. They were on the stiff side and the sauce used was a bit too salty . My wife tried Agua Chiles, the chile needed more flavor , they were not bad but not great. We also ordered a Chile relleno , meh. So in short don't expect much they just opened and working out the kinks. I might come back in few months. Ps. Wait time was long also so enjoy the chips and salsa!

Food was good and tasted like real Mexican food. Portions were exceedenly large and I personally don't find that very appetizing. Service was good for the type of restaurant Effren's is, sort of a step above a fast food joint. I think what I liked the least was the sound level. It was hard to maintain a conversation going. I do realize the type of place it is so my expectations may not jive with what they offer. Although, I do see the potential for being a fun place with a large group of mainly young people. I'm past that point. 🤣

My lady friend , her bestie and I were down the street at a bar and wanted to get something to eat around 10 ish and luckily this place was open. I've been to other 2 locations. This one is right on a busy jbtwrsection which is good. It's my lady friend Mya's birthday and we ordered the following: 4tacos cabeza, alpastor, buche, gobernador. Bean&cheese and onion burrito carne asada hand made tortilla taco Piña colada 2x AMF's 1 mandarin jaritos. Our total was about 70 bucks. Not including tip. Our bartender was Ady, she is amazing. When you get there you'll see her behind the bar making over 4 drinks at the same time!! She Recommended AMF's because it was Mya's birthday. We will be definitely going back again. Specially after 10pm because apparently they close at 2 am. 😎 😲 😱 🫂

I had an amazing experience at the EFRENS! The owner personally visited our table to greet us, which added a nice touch to our evening. The staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating, allowing us to linger at our table longer to enjoy karaoke night. I ordered the shrimp sampler, it was immaculate in taste, and every bite was delight a perfectly complemented by refreshing a Mexican coca cola I highly recommend this place for a great atmosphere, delicious food, and wonderful service. Cant wait to return!
