If you’ve been dreaming of a place to get authentic Caribbean street food in Dade City, your prayers have been answered. The people who own and run this cafeteria style eatery are very sweet and their empanadas are so delicious! Tender, flavorful fillings and flaky, tasty pie crust. My only suggestion/critique is that they remove/replace their curtains with something more transparent so that people can enjoy the view on 7th while they eat. I also think more people would visit if they could see people enjoying their tasty treats inside the restaurant. Reasonably priced and SO satisfying! They also have a 3 for $10 Empanada special on Tuesdays. It’s a great place to get a quick lunch while you’re walking around town. I will be back - as often as I can! 😂🥟❤️

My experience today was not the greatest at this place. Although the Alcapuria was good in taste, but was very small for being five dollars. My sandwich was very dry not enough meat and the meat that I had looked like to be canned chicken. I understand it is a small cafeteria style restaurant or not a restaurant whatever they call it but if you’re gonna serve the public, you should try to put your best. I may be a little harder than other people being a chef, but if the food is good, I don’t Mind paying the money.

Came across this Dominican mom and pop shop and the food was so good. Great empanadas, alcapurrias, and sandwiches at affordable prices. They have daily specials, like 3 empanadas for $10 on Tuesdays. Definitely coming back.

Small mom and pop hole in the wall. Food was good and hot. Empanadas were crispy and not too oily. Fairly traditional Cuban was hot and ready in five minutes. Fast service and clean place.

The service was not great. The person attending. The cash register was very unfriendly. Needs to work on his people. Skills. For the amount of food that we got in the prize was very high. We bought the Alcapuria and bread yuca for five dollars was very small. Our sandwiches patacón was Very dry. It was no flavor. No season and the chicken taste like it was. Can Chicken and it look like it was can Chicken. I will not recommend anyone to go there.
