Egg Roll King

We love Egg Roll King. It was one of the 1st restaurants we tried when we moved to Savannah 6 years ago. This place is take out only. Parking is convenient and located right in front of the store. The location of the restaurant is not in the best area but we have never had any trouble while picking up orders. Service is fast and they never get your order wrong. The food is delicious, well prepared and fresh. The pan fried dumplings are good. Their egg rolls are tasty and fried to perfection. The other night, we ordered a sesame chicken combo, an orange chicken combo and fried dumplings. The combos come with an egg roll, white or fried rice and you can substitute any kind of lo mein for a few dollars more. The pork or chicken lo meins are the best. We have been looking for a great Chinese Food take out spot in Savannah for a min and this is it. The crab Rangoons are out of this world. Egg rolls are meaty and delicious. Everything is great. We got the house fried rice, pork egg rolls, crab Rangoons, Mongolian beef and chicken with garlic sauce. Thank you so much for making our food great!

General Tso chicken was on point tasted exactly like Flying Monk if you want a cheaper option. The fried rice was a bit bland and the lo mein tasted like straight soy sauce after a while. Great egg rolls though! Call and place an order

This is American Style Chinese, so if you're looking for authentic dishes, this isn't the place for you. The food was delicious, with a couple of caveats - Cashew chicken shouldn't have peanuts in it, and onion fried rice shouldn't be super crispy unless it's added as an option. As someone that likes crispy rice, I wasn't mad, but I also didn't want crispy rice that day. I also don't like cooked peanuts, but there they were. The egg rolls were ok, I'm from NYC so I have a pretty high standard....but they're ok for Georgia. The sesame chicken was 😋, as was the orange chicken. Fries were the usual slightly soggy crinkle cuts. I will say that we had a pretty large order (over $120) and they left one of our combos out. We had to drive to go get it. No apologies, nothing extra for the trouble.

Food was so good didn't have the opportunity to take a picture. Small order for a quick hit lunch and it was DELICIOUS. It was seriously the best Chinese food we'd had in more than 10 years. Mongolian pork---spicy, perfect shredded scallions with a modest sesame oil coating. Kung Pao chicken--good flavor and perfect heat. Both dishes came with sticky rice. Egg rolls--phenomenal. Truly the King of Egg Rolls :) Come here--you won't be disappointed.
