Eighty-Four

The restaurant consists of two connected rooms...a massive bar, some seating and two small, well worn, pool tables in one room and a hodge podge of tables and chairs in the other. The look they were going for is hard to pin down...sophisticated shabby eclectic low brow maybe? There were several patrons there but only one kitchen staff and one wait staff so we didn't expect much. We were thoroughly surprised though. The appetizer, chips and salsa, came out almost immediately and were delicious! Our burgers came soon after and they too were top notch. Not exactly what I expected from the "smash burger" description, but excellent nonetheless. Our (and the only) waitress was amazing. Even with a large group and a few other diners, nobody was neglected.

Had an altercation happen when I walked in a couple days later and they informed me I was banned for 30 days. Proceeded to ask for the owner to be contacted and camera footage to be pulled the manager called the bartender from that night instead of getting the true proof. Was one of my favorite places until this. The other party was the aggressor and all I asked for was the physical evidence that I was the one that made contact with the bartender and got met with the refusal of camera footage of the incident and basically told it is what it is while the other party was not banned. My partner was banned as well when she didn’t do anything. Will not be back ever. (Mind you the aggressor was a man and I am a woman who got assaulted first and just defended myself)

Our first time here but it won't be our last. Great place with delicious food and friendly people! This is one of those special places that everyone should try.

The place is cool and laid back. We had onion rings that were perfectly seasoned thin and crispy. I had rolled brisket tacos that came with chips, salsa and bean dip. My friend had chicken street corn tacos that had chips, salsa and bean dip also. Everything was tasty and would recommend.

Unique interior seating. Very friendly people and good atmosphere. Must see for yourself. Will come again.
