Eiko Cafe SLC (江南人家)

The portions are huge and generous. The service is great, and the prices are very affordable. The lamb soup is packed with ingredients. The braised pork smells amazing—it's not too fatty and the flavor really soaks in. The intestines have that great 'wok hei' (smoky wok flavor) too!

Chose this restaurant on a whim and will happily come back! It's a small restaurant in a strip mall, but the decor and staff are welcoming and warm. We went on a Saturday evening for an early dinner (arrived just before 5pm) and they were busy the whole time. Despite being so busy, the waitress (thank you, Jasmine!) did take a few extra minutes with us to ensure we selected menu items with no breading and easily excluded soy sauce (dammit, gluten!). Everything was fresh and delicious.

Sorry for the late review by two days. I highly recommend this place — the food is delicious and the service is excellent. My favorite dish is the cumin lamb! I’ll definitely come back again!

The best and most authentic Chinese food in SLC! We visited three times during our two-week stay, and every dish was very tasty. The server was super nice and friendly. The restaurant isn’t large, so come early to avoid waiting during weekend dinners.

Our first time being here, every dish was authentic and exquisite! This really reminds me of the food I could get in China. I’m glad there is another place to get authentic Chinese food in Salt Lake. The staff were all very friendly. Our family had a great time here and we will definitely be back!
