Einstein Bros. Bagels

Food is fresh cahier was short with words. This was our 1st time eating in, so we mistakenly got in the wrong line. Check out cashier was not able to say "this is the pick up line or order line is over there" instead said "not taking orders". I don't think she wanted to be there. Restaurant was clean.

My husband and I stopped by for two quick bagels to dine in. We were happy to wait in line, we ordered and sat down and began to watch many people who came in after us get there food. My husband went to ask if we missed when they called our name. They rudely replied “yours is still being made.” We said no problem and sat back down. Another 10 minutes passed (mind you we had already been waiting 30min for 2 bagels) and my husband asked someone else about our order. The lady looked up our name on the computer and walked straight back and threw two bagels into the oven. Apparently our order was completely missed. She came back and said she can have them ready in two minutes. My husband said “I would just like a refund please we have been here for over half an hour and we need to go now.”

Will update if the manager Kelley refunds us, but I'm super disappointed in this Einstein's. Been a customer for decades with no issues until this Saturday. Ordered multiple nosh boxes, coffee and tea for my son's birthday party, over a week in advance. Day of party arrives, we show up to pick up the bagels and drinks, and they aren't there. Instead, Einstein's somehow DoorDashed our pickup items to our house without ever notifying us, causing my mother to be late to her grandson's party because she had to retrieve it from our house. The other half of our order was late being prepared in store, and when we arrived at the party, we realized they also gave us hot water instead of tea (no tea bags), coffee with no sugar or creamer, and no cups. Fast efficient and delicious stop for great breakfast, fresh coffees, bagels and sandwiches. My husband stops at this location a few times a week and they remember his order and his name. He enjoys their coffee as well. I particularly enjoy the turkey sausage and egg on a bagel; it is so delicious. We frequently take advantage of the bagel special on Mondays (baker’s dozen for less than $10) as a rewards member. In the morning the parking is a challenge during rush hour; however, the staff does a great job of keeping the line moving.

Good food, relaxed environment. They should definitely open the drive thru, this would be more convenient. They are always overstaffed but you always have to wait to order. This morning there were 2 staff members off the clock waiting to clock in (sitting in/outside the restaurant) and 2-3 others clocked in behind the counter working. I still waited with no one in front of me. I have never walked in and had someone take my order immediately.
