El Amigo Mexican Restaurant

We recently visited this Mexican restaurant and had a bit of a mixed experience. I want to start by saying the server was absolutely amazing. The service from start to finish was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. We never had to wait long for refills or check-ins, and that really made the visit enjoyable. We started with queso and salsa, and both were wonderful. The queso was creamy and flavorful, and the salsa had just the right kick. The chips were fresh and crisp, which made for a great beginning to the meal. Unfortunately, things didn’t stay quite as strong once our entrées arrived. My fiancé ordered a quesadilla, and while it tasted fine, all the meat was piled in the center. That meant most bites were just empty tortilla, which was disappointing. I ordered the steak faji

Our server Sam was amazing! Very friendly and fast service. Sam was very good about drink service, my husband drinks his coke very fast. Our food came out hot and fresh! Definitely recommend!!!! :)

I placed an order for pickup this afternoon over the phone, including one order of quesabirria made with flour tortillas instead of corn. The employee who took my order was polite and confirmed the quesabirria would be made with flour tortillas as requested. My husband went into the restaurant to pick up the order and then we drive the 30 minute ride back home . When i opened the boxes to our food, I noticed that my quesabirria was made with corn tortilla and they didnt include my husband’s tortillas for his fajitas. I called the restaurant to request a partial refund since my order was not prepared as requested. I explained the situation and was transferred between multiple employees. At one point, I was told that their staff “always checks” the order before bagging, which felt dismissi

Fun atmosphere. Lively colors and decorations. Great staff with friendly service. I had the birria tacos and they were delicious! Tender meat. Good dipping sauce. Crispy tortillas. Their cheese dip was delicious. Fresh, crispy and hot chips. Great spot!

Had an absolutely amazing experience here this past weekend. My partner and I ate here on Valentine’s Day and we had the best night! Our waiter, Salvador, was so attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. We ordered the guacamole and he made it fresh for us! He is definitely the best!
