El Atacor #9

I have been coming here for probably 15 years. My absolute favorite is al pastor tacos. That's what I ordered at my last visit and it didn't disappoint. I've also ordered the chile relleno burrito and also never disappoints. Not a fancy place but truly delicious

Whatever you changed in your Shrimp Cocktail recipe, Coctel de Camarones, keep it! I’ve been ordering them and from few weeks ago it is SO much better! Edit: I hate to do this because I thought I found a new spot for shrimp cocktails. They were okay at first, then the next few I ordered were amazing, but the last few I’ve ordered (4-5) tasted like just water with salt… consistently uneatable. Bring back the old recipe or cook please 🙏

Meh, I wasn't really impressed. I ordered the chilaquiles plate and three tacos de pastor. To me the flavors just weren't there. The pastor had a slight sweet taste that I didn't care for. The workers seemed friendly and it did seem like this place gets their share of regulars. Maybe their other dishes are better? I don't know. I was just in the area and saw that they're open 24 hours.

Al pastor was nasty too much onion no meat.

So many good things to say about this place! First off I only ordered the Birria soup but WOW it was sooo delicious, packed (I mean absolutely stuffed) with meat ready in 15 minutes. However I have to say, I found something here that I almost never ever seen at other food places. Something I really care about and want but never see or get... A to-go container that wasn't Styrofoam!!!! It made me so happy to eat my delicious Birria soup, in traffic from a non-styrofoam cup! Thank you El Atacor. Next time I'm in your neck of the woods, I'm definitely stopping by again!
