El Azteca

Ordered the Texas Fajitas and was excited when I saw the sizzling plate approaching our table but sadly everything was overcooked, perhaps the hot plate was too hot? Even some of the onions were burnt and the meats, specially the beef strips were dry, overcooked at best, tough and burnt in general. Was able to eat the food at the top but anything touching the hot plate was not eatable. Service was just ok and guess did not like to hear my feedback. Not sure if we'd be back

Great Mexican restaurant. Prompt service. Friendly, efficient servers, nice atmosphere and decor. The chips and salsa delivered almost as soon as we were seated were excellent. The guacamole was delicious. I had Mexican tilapia served over a grilled onion and tomato sauce. There was a guacamole and sour cream salad, and I requested refried beans instead of rice. They accommodated my request. The meal was outstanding. I recommend El Azteca on DuPont Highway.

It’s a good place for lunch or dinner.

Birria tacos were a soggy mess a d probably the worst flavor barria that I've had. Go to El Folklore in the area for the best barria tacos

Stopped in on a date night after finding it online. My god the food was spectacular. Best shrimp cocktail (el aztec) with a twist that we've ever had. Street tacos tasted super fresh eventhough we went around 830 pm. Texas Fajitas for 2 fed me and my wife for 2 days. The staff was prompt and attentive for drinks and any need we had even gave us most of the recipe for the Aztec shrimp cocktail.
