My review is not of the restaurant, but a take-out meal of fried shrimp and fries I was treated to by my niece today, November first, twenty twenty four. Upon receiving my meal, everything was noticeably hot, which is good considering I live a few blocks away from the establishment. The first thing I noticed when I was handed three condiment cups, one with ketchup and two containing tartar sauce, was the fluidness of the tartar sauce. Normally tartar sauce has a thick consistency, these seemed as though they were whisked too much if made at the restaurant, or thinned by adding water if not. The shrimp while perfectly fried and cooked had bo flavor, condiments should not be required for a meal to have flavor. I love this place! We are lucky to have them in our neighborhood. Their food is delicious and the service is great. They deliver quick and are consistent with the flavor.
