El Catrin Bar & Grill

This was our first visit to El Catrin. We had a large party of 30 people who they accommodated quickly. We went here after my dad's viewing at a local funeral home. The wait staff was helpful and friendly. The food came out quickly. Everything tasted good. The chips and salsa were also good. I had the chicken enchiladas, my daughter had the shrimp enchiladas, my eldest daughter had the fajitas catrin, my husband had the burrito tornado, and my eldest daughter's husband had the tamale plate. All the food was hot and tasted fresh. The portion sizes are good as well for the price. We will visit again.

We decided to give them a try on my birthday! Our waitress, Lola, was wonderful and so helpful to my vegetarian daughter and I! She offered to sub the rice and beans (which both have meat products) for side salads. The veggie fajitas were yummy, they gave a very generous amount of guacamole, and I definitely enjoyed the Top Shelf Margarita! My family will definitely be back.

My sister and myself tried this place for the first time. We ordered the same thing with 1 exception. Her was supposed to have no cheese. Bummer it had cheese.... Mine was perfect and the taste was top notch. I would try this place again. Not sure sister will. 9/1/25 I went back with another person A1 service and food. Quick too

This was my first time trying this place. My server was Lola and she was amazing! I tried the guac and queso and both were great. Then I had the tapiqueno plate and while I have had better skirt steak the food was still amazing. The mangorita was really good! Not too sweet! I ordered other things to bring home for the week because when I try a new place, the leftover quality matters to me also so will probably update on that. All in all I would definately recommend this place!

Food was great! Service was wonderful! They give you chips and salsa while you wait which is awesome. They were very busy and the food did take a while, but it was explained that they were short a cool in the kitchen. But everyone that walked by checked on us including the manager. Nice date night spot, I went with my wife. This will probably be our go to spot if me and my family don't want to go leave out of town. They can accommodate large parties,lots of space. I will be back
